Richard trains at Hastings Island Hunting Preserve, 7758 Hastings Island Rd, Rio Vista, CA 94571, on an island in the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta in Solano County. The preserve is a separate hunting club; call Richard, not the preserve, about training.

The island is remote, and online maps can be off there. The preserve publishes written directions from Sacramento by way of Dixon and Highway 113, and from Fairfield and Rio Vista by way of Highway 12. Call Richard before you drive out so he can meet you.
